About DropStay

Why we built it

Hotel prices keep changing after you book. If your booking has free cancellation, you can rebook the same stay for less and cancel the original.

But that means checking the price again and again until the cancellation deadline. DropStay is built to do that checking for you.

How it works

• You forward your booking confirmation to your personal DropStay address. We read only what price comparison needs, such as the hotel, dates, room, guests, breakfast, cancellation terms and total price.
• Until the free-cancellation deadline, we check the price of the same stay using data that booking sites provide through their affiliate programs.
• When the same stay looks bookable for less, we email you. Whether to rebook is your call, after you check it yourself.

How to start

We are taking requests for access. Use “Request access” on the home page or write to hello@dropstay.kr, and we will email you how to get started when it is your turn.

We start with Agoda bookings.

How DropStay is funded

DropStay is free. If you rebook through a DropStay link after an alert, the booking site pays DropStay an affiliate commission. The commission is not added to the price you pay.

The rebooking happens on the same booking site; we do not send you to a different one.

What we stick to

• Prices come only from data booking sites provide through their affiliate programs. We do not scrape their websites.
• We delete the original booking email right after reading the fields we need, and never store your name, booking number or manage-booking link.
• If we cannot confirm the conditions are the same, we do not say the price dropped.
• Alert prices can differ from what you see on screen, so we never promise an amount.
